A New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Ministry
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.  Hebrews 13:2 NIV
About Us

We are a non-profit, support group working under New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian ministry with a group of volunteers that are just trying to give a little support to people going thru a serious illness, extended treatments, or a rough time, that was started by it's founder, Trish Danner.

God was giving me something that He needed me to do.  It's best explained like he was giving me pieces to a puzzle.  When the pieces came together, it was this organization with God's love shining through.  Looking back, it started back when my Dad had terminal cancer. He told about experiences he had when alone but yet felt that he was not alone at all but had a presence around him that was watching over him and gave him a peaceful feeling.  He told me that he knew he was not alone. When I asked him if it was an angel, he was happy with that thought.  After he left us, I found an organization that I joined, that helped people going through chemotherapy. He gave me on the job experience, so to speak and God let me know that he wanted me to take this idea and help children going through an extended illness, a parent deployed or a rough time in life and give them some hope and cheer them up. Now we feel it's time to add on other groups to encourage and support them too.

When I was deciding on a name for the group, I knew I wanted Angels to be part of the name, mainly in honor of my Dad. Also, because I do know there are Angels around us.

About the Founder

Hi, I'm Trish Danner, the founder of Angels of Hope 4 U.  I've been married 36 years to Ronnie Danner.  We have one son, Curt married to Philicia.  They have two children, Alexis 7 and Adrian James (AJ).
I had been a volunteer for a wonderful group called Chemoangels.  I started feeling that God wanted me to do something else and after a lot of prayer I saw that I had been doing "on the job training" with Chemoangels.  God let me know that he wanted me to take this idea and go on to something else.  I contacted the founder of Chemoangels and told her what I felt I was being called to do.  She was so understanding and said if God was in it, it would do well and wished me luck.  I saw that I was to start with the children, those going through not just cancer but any serious illness, treatments or just needed encouragement during a tough time in their life.  I also, saw that I was to add other groups after I had it up and going.  These groups would be Seniors and Veterans, to support and encourage them.  It seems sometimes we forget after a while about these groups.

Be still, and know that I am God-Psalms 46:10
