ABOUT OUR PROGRAM:
We are a non-profit organization with a group of volunteers that adopt or assigned a person that is going through a serious illness, extended illness or needs some encouragement and a little cheering up. We send cards and gifts to these people each week in hopes to encourage and to cheer them up. These people are going through something tough in their lives and we are hoping to help them in a simple way. Think about how you like getting mail like on your birthday and just feel someone cares. BUT BEWARE! YOU might just get as big of a blessing out of it as they do!
Volunteers-You sign up by filling out a form under volunteer. You are then sent an assignment with information such as their likes, dislikes, things they can have, their hobbies, etc. You then send a card or gift, or both each week.
Know someone that needs encouragement? Sign them up but we would prefer their permission. We then assign them to an Angel or volunteer. If we have a volunteer available that has been something like they are going through, we try to assign them to this person.

If you are already a volunteer, we now have a page under the Volunteer tab that has a newsletter update. We will try to keep it updated on the latest projects and things you need to know.

Where Do the Donations Go?
They go to help keep this web site going, for printing of brochures, flyers, etc., postage, supplies such as paper, sometimes until a person is assigned, we send them cards and gifts until we find them an assigned angel. If you feel you can't volunteer but would love to help, your donation would be appreciated.

We have added another way that you can help our cause. It's very simple, just by shopping online. Igive.com has different online stores that will donate a percentage of your purchase at their store to your cause. If you click on the igive.com icon, it will take you to the page to sign up for our cause. It will explain better on the website what all you need to do.
